Faye Stacey is an Ignatz nominated comic artist and illustrator based in Glasgow. They've coloured for The Phoenix; drawn pages of comics for Magic Torch Comics; been featured in anthologies like BOXES and Discord Comics; and were one of four artists selected to be part of the Quindrie Press 2023 story collection.[email protected]

They are also a Director and Founder of Sequential Scotland Comic Con, and Small Press Scotland CIC

Magic Torch Comics

I've produced a number of comics for Magic Torch now across different projects, covering fiction and info comics for children, as well as scripts written by the children.

PGR Narratives

I was hired as a colourist on the Postgraduate Research Narratives - Wellbeing project for Dundee Uni. The linework was produced by Thomas Crielly. Thomas and I have collaborated on a number of informational comics of this nature for higher institutions.

Ode

Ode was created by Travis Corwin, and the comic is part of their larger multimedia project that includes music and prose. I created the artwork and covers for the comics, with Rob Jones on lettering.

Self Publishing

I also create and print my own comics and zines, and regularly attend comic cons or zine fairs across the UK to sell my work. Keep an eye on my social media to see where I will be attending next.

Sad Manthology

Sad Manthology is an anthology I created with a group of friends. It's a slightly tongue-in-cheek look at the trope of the depressed anti-hero male lead that features in a lot of fiction.

Sub Terra

Sub Terra is my webcomic about a group of archeologists getting stuck in an ancient zoo that has been buried underground in isolation for hundreds of years. You can read it here
