In 2017 I completed Inktober - a challenge where artists aim to complete and post a new ink drawing every day for the month of October, often on a theme. Once I had completed the challenge and had the 31 drawings, I decided to collect them together for an art book. Because part of my practice has always involved playing with pacing, and how the differing consumer experience impacts the work, I decided to create a game book where readers are able to make decisions about where to go next in the story themselves.
The success of this project lead to my being asked to contribute work to Into the Dungeon, a larger game book that was funded through Kickstarter. I intend to create more work in a similar vein in the future.
